All content on Regeneration TV requires the use of
Real Player G2 or 7 which can be downloaded for free from Real's web
site at www.real.com. If you cannot
install Real Player, or have other problems, please let us know.
To view a particular show, select the cooresponding link that reads:
watch now!
or, if there are multiple speeds available, ie:
watch now! [28-56kbps | 80kbps | 200kbps]
Select the one that is most appropriate for your connection speed:
28-56kpbs - This is surestream encoded for modem speeds.
80kbps - ISDN connections.
200kbps - DSL, Cable modems, and T1
Also, it is important to adjust your connection speed settings on your
Real Player to the highest bandwidth you can support. So, if you connect
to the internet at 56 Kbps, then make sure your settings reflect this. You can
change your settings by going to Options:Preferences:Connection at the top of
the Real window.
If you're interested in creating audio and video files for posting on
Regeneration TV, you will need to download the Free
Real Producer from
Real's web site. Real Producer will allow you to create audio and video
documents of the *.rm format. Once you have created the file, you may ftp
the file (using you're favorite ftp program, or check out www.cuteftp.com)
to RegenerationTV.com and place the file in the /pub directory. You will not
need a user name or passwd to send the file to us. However, there is a 20mb
limit per file and the directory is cleaned out on a 48 hour basis. Please
email us and let us know your file is uploaded and we will put a link to it.
NOTE: This is currently unavailable. Soon, Regeneration TV will be offering
member accounts and member content pages. More later.
So, if you are interested in submitting one of your pieces to Regeneration TV,
please contact us via email: collective@regenerationtv.com
Regeneration TV will soon be providing user accounts on
our server which allow you to create content and develop your own web pages
for streaming audio and video files.
